sneak peeks and beach day!!

I started working on my Christmas gifts. I have a bunch of things to make, including a quilt for my grandma, which I'll show later.

For now, here's a sneak peek at a yo yo pillow that I'm making for someone special. I saw the pattern at Oh Fransson ... Elizabeth is awesome! Mine isn't as color coordinated, I'm using some of my favorite scraps from my stash for the yo yo's. See:

We're also going to the beach today - yes, I plan on getting burnt. I always do. *sigh* Venice Beach, here we come!! And thanks T for taking care of little M so that we could enjoy the day baby-free!
